Anna Gągola doctor habilitated, professor of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław (the Chair of Chamber Music). In 1987 she graduated in piano from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław under Andrzej Głosza.

She is an active chamber musician performing in Poland and abroad. She participated in concerts, recitals and festivals, playing with many outstanding artists. As a recognized accompanist she played during courses and master workshops as well as national and international competitions. In her repertoire she has many chamber music works for string and wind instruments, vocal works and pieces for piano duo, trio or quintet. As an organiser of concerts and performer she promotes the music of Polish composers. Since the academic year 2008/2009 she has been Dean of the Instrumental Faculty of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, currently serving her second term. In recognition of her rich artistic, teaching and organizing activity she has received Rector’s Awards. In 2013 she was decorated with the Bronze Cross of Merit.
